Anomalies in Seventh Central Pay Commission

(a) whether the Government has received request from the Central Government Employees/Pensioners and public representatives in respect of pay anomalies in view of the implementation of recommendations of the Seventh Central Pay Commission;

(b) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor, post-wise;

(c) whether the anomalies have been removed by the Government;

(d) if so, the details thereof, post-wise; and

(e) if not, the reasons therefor and the time by which a decision is likely to be taken by the Government in this regard?

(a) to (e): The Government has set up Anomaly Committees to settle the anomalies arising out of the implementation of the Seventh Central Pay Commission recommendations. The Anomaly Committee is to dispose of the anomalies within a period of one year. Based on the recommendations of the Committee on various issues, appropriate decision will be taken by the Government.
